This is the first-ever POAP offered by Boy Untitled to celebrate the release of the Losing Time EP featuring artwork by Neptune Universe. The two met during the writing process of the project on Instagram, a collaboration - like many - born on the internet. This POAP will first be available to mint on February 22, 2022, at the release party hosted by Soho Warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles. Losing Time is the sophomore EP of Boy Untitled. A dark and dreamy, 5-track offering that explores themes of human relationships (including my own struggling marriage), attachment, estrangement, and dystopia within our modern lives. Spanning dance-pop, house, and lo-fi genres, the project features two new songs, as well as, collaborations with UK EDM producer Tom Ferry and Colombian saxophonist, Grillo Johipa. A NOTE FROM BOY UNTITLED “Losing Time is about so many things. In the broadest sense, I wrote it about this specific moment in human history. The pandemic, the climate crisis, the wave of social justice, and political movements happening what feels like daily. It’s my own little time capsule that paints a world existing in-between versions of itself; the old world falling away and the new one struggling to emerge.  More personally and directly, it’s about my relationship with my husband. As a member of the first generation of socially-accepted queer marriages, there isn’t much of a rule book or many mentors to rely on for guidance. Many of us are forging this path together in real-time. In the last two years, I’ve seen us come to the brink of separation and back. Feeling lost and alone inside of my partnership is a special kind of pain. It’s a reality that’s often ignored or silenced in the social media age that is addicted to showing how happy we all are. Sometimes the truth is much more painful.  In both cases, this idea of “Losing Time” prevails. A clock ticking relentlessly from season to season.  Writing this project helped me step away from that clock and reconnect with myself and our community. It helped me see that I am not alone and that we are all on a journey of discovering ourselves together. In that discovery, I truly believe that we are at the helm of creating the world we want to see. I hope this project helps others to see that and inspires them to get up, dance, and do something about it.” -- Boy Untitled is a recording and visual artist based in Los Angeles. His music - described as "thought-provoking as it is danceable” and “musical medicine you can dance to” - has been featured in such publications as Billboard, Earmilk, Gaytimes, Nylon, and OUT! Magazine. Sonically, he mixes vulnerability with world-inspired dance tracks that jump from ethereal soundscapes to vibrant electronica. The result is his own brand of authentic, no-boundaries pop with a simple, but powerful message: “Love will always find a way.” It is for this reason that the Q Review describes Boy Untitled as “an artist that you instinctively know is going to impact the future of music.”
