He is a techno DJ of international acclaim, headlining festivals around the globe but always welcomed for special sets at Berlin’s underground Mecca Berghain. Yet his expansive talent burst through the walls of electronic music by audacious cross-genre exploration causing a flood of a GRAMMY nomination with SKRILLEX and TY DOLLA $IGN, producing FRANK OCEAN’s return single “DHL” and multiple tracks for A$AP ROCKY, collaborating with FRANCIS AND THE LIGHTS, CHIlLY GONZALES, CHANCE THE RAPPER, MARK RONSON and SNOOP DOGG before co-writing Grammy winning LADY GAGA “RAIN ON ME” ft. ARIANA GRANDE and “FREE WOMAN.” BOYS NOIZE’s 2021 album +/- (pronounced Polarity) examines the dualistic tension between these musical styles and spheres, but reveals a truth: in space between opposites, creativity thrives. +/- is an exercise in world building with featurings from Rico Nasty, Tommy Cash, Kelsey Lu, Abra, Chilly Gonzales, Jake Shears and Corbin. It shatters genre restrictions, and takes electronic music´s legacy into the future, and combines contrasts to create something entirely new and never heard before." "Building off of the last album release adventure, the MAYDAY Bvnker, BOYS NOIZE will again return to LOS ANGELES to throw an intimate IRL album launch event which will be mirrored in the metaverse at Decentral Land as well as being available on other easily accessible online platforms. Through a variety of hidden clues and vague hints fans will be drawn to an undisclosed location where Boys Noize will present his latest masterpiece +/- (Polarity) with an exclusive performance featuring album collaborators RICO NASTY, ABRA, and JAKE SHEARS. The event will focus the music as well as the album art created by visual artist Eric T. Carlson, designer of Bon Iver´s acclaimed 22 a Million. Through both image and sound, this immersive experience will reflect +/-´s survey of the anything-is-possible output of a distinguished techno producer freed from all confined, and the entire spectrum of an album which is as much of an evolution for the genre as it is for BOYS NOIZE himself.
