I am a pharmacist from Rio de Janeiro-Brazil and I work as a computational chemist at Bayer since 2021 in the Computational Molecular Design department in Wuppertal. I work side by side with chemists on different projects using our digital tools to design small molecules that maybe one day will help patients! I am passionate about my work and I have the opportunity to also be part of the Steering Group for Transformation and Leadership in the Drug Discovery Science to help transforming the way we work and communicate.

In his role at Bayer Michael is responsible for the Antibody Lead Discovery and Optimization and he is enthusiastic for replacing most of the established classical lab processes with AI based predictions

Hey there, I am Santi and I love applying machine learning to gain insight on hard problems. These days I mostly work with large biomolecules (RNA, DNA and proteins), but sometimes I also get lost in ginormous medical images. Aaron works at the intersection of science and IT. He has just joined DS & AI as a Product Owner Preclinical, where he will be responsible for introducing digital products that help scientists and advance the R&D strategy within RED Oncology and preMED. He has had multiple roles within IT over his seven years at Bayer, supporting Pharma scientists from research to early development. Prior to joining Bayer he performed doctoral and postdoctoral research in neurobiology, and worked for an R&D-focused software vendor.
