What Do Polar Bears Have to Do with Self-Management?
Want to know what polar bears, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and a couple of shot glasses have to do with personal development in a consulting company like MHP? Then this introductory presentation is right for you. It not only gives you an insight into topics such as subjective and situational perception, you will also get to grips with different interpretations of a work-life balance. Not to mention, we discuss polar bears and their differences. All this is in no way a scientific evaluation β rather it is a subjective consideration of a multitude of experiences gained from 7 years of MHP, 15 years of business and 35 years of being the child of a psychologist. All these impressions are mixed with a little north German humor and the result is a self-conceived model, illustrated with a number of examples. So, expect well-founded insights delivered with a wink. Personal Development Stage P | 05:15 - 05:35 pm | Personal Development
The MHP Future Hack Winner Presents: AI Simulation along the Supply Chain
Many manufacturing companies will be familiar with one challenge: The manufacturing environment is digitalized in line with Industry 4.0, but how can data from mostly non-standardized data sources be interpreted? We explored this question with Siemens at the Future Factory Hack 2022 in Dubai. Based on a digital twin developed by us, the hackathon participants had to simulate a specific application, with Logyc, being the one with the most impressive solution. In a live broadcast from the USA, Logyc and we will present approaches that help to understand the cost, time and sustainability impacts of decisions β from an end-to-end perspective. Logyc offers an AI-powered simulation and modeling platform for this purpose, which has been successfully used in MHP projects to assess the resilience of value streams or supply chains and identify risk mitigation areas. Discover the AI potential in the supply chain. Engineering, Intelligent & Flexible Manufacturing, Supply-Chain Stage H | 04:45 - 05:05 pm | Impulse Session
From Wrong Decisions to Best Practices β a Call for a New Error Culture
Mistakes are the driving force behind all personal development. So letβs talk about them! Letβs talk about the cloud migration journey that didnβt go as planned. The journey to the cloud is a big topic for many of our customers right now, so itβs only logical that we too were once taking our first steps into the cloud. This introductory presentation, drawn from the experiences of an expert software developer and architect from MHP, shows the side that hardly anyone else talks about: What can go wrong on a cloud journey? Almost more important, however, is how we dealt with our mistakes and what we learned from them β especially what we learned about error culture. Join us on an exciting journey full of (wrong) decisions and get ready to hear about best practices and experiences that will help you to at least avoid making the same mistakes we did. The Battery as a Critical Factor in E-Mobility - And How to Make It More Sutainable
The battery is at the heart of future mobility β it enables emission-free mobility, but it also brings its own challenges. This is because the resources for building lithium-ion batteries are limited β at the same time, they are predestined for innovative approaches to the circular economy. For this reason, topics such as recycling, or second-life management of batteries are increasingly coming into focus. In this presentation, we will show which technical and economic aspects need to be taken into account. You will also learn how digital twins can be used to monitor and optimize a battery β including static and dynamic data over the entire life cycle as well as permanent monitoring of the state of health and new predictive maintenance options. Update your expertise on electromobility. Mobility Services Stage M | 03:10 - 03:30 pm | Impulse Session

They share their two insights and answer three key questions: What makes a good agile leader? Why do self-organized teams still need leadership? How does agile leadership succeed? Our experts take various view pointsviewpoints in the presentation to introduce you to the multi-layered levels of agile leadership. The focus is on agile leadership with the customer and as a manager at MHP. Immerse yourself in the diversity of agile leadership and help shape this cultural change.
