The good vibes continue in 2024! This hodler attended Hodlercon in Phuket, Thailand and saw new Bitcoin all time highs while relaxing by the beach. Whether it was the DeFi Saver pizza party, snorkeling at Phi Phi Islands, feeding the elephants, or shopping at the street markets, this hodler spent the week with the rest of the Hodlercon group embodying the optimism and sense of community that led to Hodlercon happening in the first place.

Rocket Pool has rolled out Smart Node version 1.13.0, fully equipped for the imminent Houston upgrade! Notable features entail the integration of an On-Chain pDAO (RPIP-33), the capability to stake ETH on behalf of nodes (RPIP-32), a designated RPL Withdrawal Address (RPIP-31), and time-based balance and RPL price submissions (RPIP-35). Node operators who promptly update within 24 hours are rewarded with a POAP.

This POAP was distributed to all those that attended one of the Rocket Pool Denver LIFT OFF events on Mar 2-3, 2024. The Denver Lift-Off was an ETH Denver side event designed to focus on the Rocket Pool protocol. This event was primarily educational, providing the Rocket Pool and Ethereum community with a unique opportunity to gain insights from fellow node operators, Protocol DAO (pDAO) members, community leaders, and the development team. While the conference centered on topics related to the Rocket Pool protocol, its content was also highly relevant to those interested in decentralized, permissionless LST protocols and ETH staking.
