Get your... - free POAP - chance to win The Hourglass's "Rookie Card #17 - Specialists" NFT - Great music, good vibes, and your daily dose of the Festival Land community Specialists Bio: Formed in 2017, Specialists were initially a recording duo (Billy-guitar and Mikey-bass) that has now evolved into a fully-fledged band, featuring Christian Hickey on drums and Pete Harden on keys. The sound is a fine blend of Funk, Rock, R&B, and Jazz. Specialists’ sound is centered around layered guitar and vocals, driving electric bass, and a contagious groove. Specialists were founded in Upstate New York and have relocated to New York City. Specialists’ debut album No Need to Explode, released in April of 2018, is an eclectic and prolific mix of songs from their beginnings. The sophomore album, Specialists, released June of 2019, is a funky and well-rounded display of the group’s songwriting and musicality. The group’s third release, Too Easy, is their most refined release. The EP will take you on a journey through sonic space. The backbeat, paired with the production, performance, and arrangement seamlessly presents peak listener satisfaction. Their newest single, Head in My Hand is the first single off their upcoming project. It is a psychedelic funk adventure that will lead you to an alt-rock release of euphoria.
