Celebrate History in the making with the EVMavericks as they get OpenSea blue check mark verified! This was thanks to IcoBeast.eth winning a bet with Clemente @Chilearmy123 where Clemente said he would "get a tattoo on his ass of IcoBeast's pfp if ETH broke a new ATH this year (2025)" In which it certainly did just a few months later. The bet took off on social media which lead to Opensea posting a tweet about it which inevitably lead them to verify the EVMavericks collection. Many OG EVMavericks know the struggle it was to go through the Opensea process to get blue check mark verified in the past and so becoming verified through a random bet online with an ass tattoo is very bittersweet! This POAP commemorates the mergening of /r/ethfinance and /r/ethereum. Now the hallowed Ethfinance Daily is a front-page feature within /r/ethereum! Collectors of this POAP made a donation of ~$5 of ETH to the Protocol Guild. /r/ethereum is now a mullet: Ethereum tech on the front page and price action (and more) in the daily. The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.
