WEN Tokyo presents Rik Oostenbroek (Netherlands) x A - Mashiro (Japan) @ UltraSuperNew Gallery. Bridging cultures through art, technology and finance. WEN is creating spaces to experience the metaverse and the collaborative culture that is connecting people all around the world! As the mystery is unboxed, many artists will meet, many buildings will transform and many dreams will be grounded in the cross-reality platforms of WEN Tokyo! This POAP is to commemorate the first 'meeting of the minds' of future-forward creators in the emerging Tokyo Web3 ecosystem. Gathered by Viktor Chan (@viktorchenovsky) and held at ADI in Kamimeguro (a Nepalese-fusion restaurant artfully presented in a relaxed environment with a warm vibe) attendants reflected similar principles in bridging into the metaverse with a collaborative mindset for the benefit of the collective. Discussions ranged from NFTs to global economics; vintage cars and visas; a broken financial system and money as a system of control; Adidas avatars and golden skateboards; plant medicines and pharmaceuticals; and how we can make sense of it all to paint the canvas of reality that we want to see. We shared a strong desire to merge progressive technology with a natural flow, to envisage the possible and actualize the probable, and most importantly: to get things done. Thus, the concept of ADI + DONE was sparked. Inspired by ADI? Borrowed from Adidas? Acronym for Advanced Digital Integration? All of the above? The possibilities are what we make of them.
