Myth Taken POAP #19 Laughter as Medicine

#213376

2025-11-05

Congratulations! You have minted Myth Taken POAP #19 Thanks so much for showing up and sharing your joy! We appreciate you! And if we can add a smile to your day or tickle your funny bone that makes it even better! Here is a poem just for you! 🪶 Poem: “Laughter Rx” When shadows press too close to skin, and quiet feels too loud within, make your own full moon, my friend... bare your joy, and let it bend. A giggle’s just a spark at first, a cough of light for souls that thirst. But one bright laugh can leap the gloom, and fill ten hearts with sonic bloom. For laughter glues what logic breaks, and joy’s the bug no cure forsakes. So let the echo spin and spread... contagious hope from cheek to head. And when the road grows dim or long, flash your grin...it’s medicine strong. In laughter’s light, we all confess: the joke’s on pain...and thank goodness. 🕯️ Shared joy is infectious...dose generously.

Myth Taken POAP #17 Ghosts Tell the Best Stories

#211312

2025-10-22

Congratulations! You have just minted Myth Taken POAP #17! Thanks so much for contributing so much to our storytelling space! Writing... listening... showing up in so many ways! We appreciate you! And we hope you spread the love! And of course here is our POAP poem for the week! 🎪 Dead Men Don’t, But Ghosts Sure Do 🎵 Step right up, don’t be afraid, The ghosts are out... the debts are paid! The book’s wide open, the ink still bleeds, Whispering all their wicked deeds. They said, “Dead men tell no tales!”...ha! wrong! These spirits hum a carnival song. They twirl through pages, rattle and rhyme, Spilling secrets lost to time. One ghost giggles, one takes notes, Another steals your haunted quotes! Their laughter’s stitched with candle flame, Each verse a dare, each rhyme a game. So mind your words, the mirror warns true, For what you say might answer you. And once the ghosts have had their fun... The story’s told… but never done. 🎠👻

Myth Taken POAP #16 The Mirror Misheard You

#210132

2025-10-15

Congratulations! You have minted Myth Taken POAP #16 We love having you all spend an hour of your day with us! Chatting and storytelling... having a bit of fun! Thank you for coming and giving a listen! 🪞 “The Mirror Misheard You” A mirror heard you wrong one night, Beneath the fairground’s twisted light. You asked for peace, it gave you fog, You whispered “cat,” and summoned a dog. You said, “I wish for a clearer view,” It opened a door and let something through. A ghost with manners, sipping tea, Said, “Pardon me, were you calling me?” A demon in sequins joined the song, Insisting it knew what was going wrong. “It’s all a mix-up, don’t you fret... Reflections get their signals wet.” The moon applauded, the stars turned twice, Reality bent (and tried to be nice). Your echo stuttered, your shadow sneezed, The carnival sighed, “We aim to please.” Now mirrors giggle when you pass by, Repeating your words with a wink and a sigh. So speak with care, or at least with flair... You never know who’s listening there.

Congratulations! You have just minted Myth Taken POAP #14 Celebrating our first progressive storytelling space! We hope you enjoyed hearing everyone share their creative talents from the many wonderful communities we have touched! We look forward to having more of these spaces! Thanks for listening and participating! We love all of you! And of course there is always a poem.... ✨ The Fortune Teller’s Whisper ✨ Beneath the canvas, stitched in night, Where lanterns hum with secret light, A crystal ball begins to glow, Revealing paths you may not know. The fortune teller’s eyes are deep, She stirs the silence ghosts still keep. Her voice a thread, both soft and sly: “One truth will ground you, one will fly.” The ball shows storms, the ball shows flame, It whispers softly, calls your name. Yet every image, twist, and bend, Is but a door...you choose the end. For fate’s not chains, but swirling streams, It bends to those who dare to dream. So take the riddle, guard it well... The choice is yours, the fortune’s spell.

2025-09-24

Congratulations! You have just minted lucky POAP #13 in the Myth Taken series for being such a great listener! Your support is appreciated by us so much! Thank you for being so awesome! Enjoy the art and the poem too! The Carnival That Found Me 🎡✨ When daylight fades and shadows fall, The carnival whispers, it beckons us all. Lanterns ignite with a flicker and flare, Painting the night with colors rare. The air is sugared, spun with delight, Popcorn and candied apples in sight. Smoke from the grills, a cinnamon breeze, The perfume of wonder drifts through the trees. Laughter rolls where the midway bends, Each corner a secret the twilight defends. The Ferris wheel hums, the calliope sings, And time itself dances on painted swings. Why do we love it, why do we stay? Because the carnival steals the gray. In every light, in every sound, A piece of lost childhood is suddenly found. So let the gates open, let mystery start, The carnival waits in the dark of the heart. It finds you wandering, it knows your name... And nothing you see will ever be the same.
