This POAP commemorates attendance to DeSci x Funding the Commons Berlin, a joint effort between the decentralized science and public goods funding communities. On the 8th, DeSci.Berlin takes the main stage, with insightful talks by key players in the field. Topic specific workshops and side-discussions will also be held in a dedicated space (the DeSci.Berlin Stage) on the same day and continued on the 9th of September. Attendees will delve into the complexities of decentralized science, from innovative research funding avenues to the conceptualization of biotech DAOs. ​On the 9th, Funding the Commons takes the main stage, and will feature a unique emphasis on builders and interactive programming. In contrast to the storied academia of its Paris event, Berlin FTC will celebrate the hands-on spirit of creation and innovation. Likewise, the FTC Stage will run across both days, alongside the main stage, with insightful workshops and topic focused discussions.

Funding the Commons bridges the public goods community across Web2, Web3, research, philanthropy and industry. We do this by convening builders and practitioners, researchers and academics, and funders and philanthropists, catalyzing innovation in public goods. Funding the Commons is the premier conference focused on public goods in web3. The 6th edition of Funding the Commons takes place on 15-16 July with the beautiful backdrop of Paris, France. The event is hosted at the renowned Sorbonne Université, which has the distinction of being one of the two oldest universities in Europe, with origins dating back to the 13th century. Paris is our key in-person event during 2023. Funding the Commons is incubated by Protocol Labs, and supported by Gitcoin, Golem Foundation, and countless other organizations and individuals that enable it to become a reality.

This POAP is given for the attendance of bio.xyz's first demo day. bio.xyz is a biotech DAO accelerator that is changing the industry by empowering biotech builders, researchers, and patient communities.

DeSci London is a 2-day event focused on showcasing the potential of blockchain technology within science. Over the course of the two days, we will host talks and workshops focused on decentralised science (DeSci) projects aiming to improve everything from publishing infrastructure to longevity, rare diseases, climate tech & SynBio.
