On September 23, 2024, the Constellation testnet officially went live! Constellation is a protocol built on Rocket Pool that enhances capital efficiency, boosts scalability, and mitigates asset concentration risk. Node operators who participated in setting up Constellation on Holesky, helping test one of the most impactful products built on Rocket Pool, were awarded a POAP as recognition for their contribution.

Holders of this POAP celebrated Goerli's network upgrade to Dencun. Special thanks to the Ethereum Foundation, Ethereum Cat Herders and EthStaker for hosting the watch party call.

The user 'rpl-benefactor' returned to Rocket Pool's Discord #trading channel on December 1st, 2023 to announce that they had 535 RPL (worth >$15,000) to distribute to the community over the coming days. Funds were donated by: Waq donated $3000, with the caveat that the whole community must rally to reach $10,000 in total donations. Once that amount was reached, the RPL Benefactor would distribute the equivalent value in RPL to members of the community. 62 Community members bought the POAP priced at 0.05 ETH. https://poap.gallery/event/159708 In addition to Waq and POAP buyers, the final amount also included generous donations from Thomasg and an Anon whale. The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.
