The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.

Voting is currently underway for what might be the most significant tokenomics change in Rocket Pool's history. The entire Ethereum network is exposed to risks when it heavily relies on a single execution client like Geth. It is crucial for the overall stability and resilience of the Ethereum ecosystem that a diverse range of execution clients is adopted. In the month of June, the Rocket Pool community banded together to diversify execution client usage on the network. This POAP has been granted to node operators who have made the commendable choice of either transitioning to, or already utilizing minority clients during the month of June 2023.
