RPL Benefactor returned to the Rocket Pool #trading channel to share the good news that Thomasg had donated 1000 RPL to be distributed amongst the Rocket Pool community. The eligibility rules were: 1) 500 messages in this discord over 3 months (my discretion) 2) 10 rpl for good work and 5 rpl if i think you should work harder (my discretion) 3) dm me making your case and with your address. the stronger your case, the more likely you are to get 10 rpl. no nominations. 4) use this rpl to party for atlas Over 3 days the RPL Benefactor sent all 1000 RPL to jubilant members of the Rocket Pool Community. The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.

On May 14, 2023, Waqwaqattack, Rocket Pool's beloved Rocket Fuel podcast host, watched Guardians of the Galaxy 3 then delivered his own baby in his car. Baby waq and mommy waq are all doing great.

On April 17, 2023, the Rocket Pool protocol launched its much-anticipated major event, Atlas, which marked a significant milestone in the development of the decentralized protocol. The launch event was marked by a celebratory atmosphere, with members of the Rocket Pool Discord community coming together to share their excitement and stories about the project. As the Atlas launch went live, members of the Discord community gathered virtually to participate in the festivities. There was a palpable sense of excitement in the air as Rocket Pool enthusiasts from all over the world joined in to celebrate the culmination of months of hard work and dedication.

To commemorate the launch of Rocketpool Atlas on 4/18/23. Atlas allows minipools with only 8 ETH/minipool provided by the node operator. This allows more overall minipools to accomodate a larger quantity of rETH hodlers. Design by RPLgrime.

On April 18 Rocket Pool deployed their Atlas upgrade, this upgrade provides support for withdrawals from the beacon chain and 8 Ether mini pools. This is a huge milestone in the success of Rocket Pool!
