Hey Crawley Town fans! Guess who's stepping into the ring? Brace yourselves for the face-off against The Stags of Mansfield Town, a club with a football journey that's been rolling since 1897. Formed as Mansfield Wesleyans, they evolved into Mansfield Town in 1910 and joined the Football League in 1931. They climbed up the ranks, winning the Alliance in 1919–20, celebrating Midland League victories in '24, '25, and '29. They hit the Third Division in '60, then promoted in '62–'63, spending nine seasons until '72. Bagged Fourth Division title in '74–'75 and Third Division title in '76–'77, but faced two quick relegations. Recent highlights include Fourth Division promotion in '85–'86, a Football League Trophy win in '86–'87, and promotions in '91–'92, '01–'02, and a return to the Football League in '12–'13 after winning the Conference. Nicknamed 'The Stags,' they rock a blue and yellow kit, call Field Mill home since 1919 (now an all-seater stadium with a 9,186 capacity), and have intense rivalries with Chesterfield and local derbies against Notts County. Thank you and COYR!

SUTTON UNITED vs. CRAWLEY TOWN, EFL Trophy, Discord Watch Party, 231010

Sutton United has had a challenging season in League Two, currently sitting at 23rd place. While they've faced their share of struggles, they are sure to bring their A-game in this EFL Trophy encounter. The last time Crawley Town and Sutton United crossed paths, it was an unforgettable encounter. Crawley emerged victorious with a commanding 3-0 win, courtesy of goals from Campbell, Maguire, and Orsi. The memory of that triumph still lingers, and we'll be hoping for a repeat performance. Sutton United may be lower in the league standings, but they've shown resilience, winning their last game. On the other hand, Crawley Town has faced a couple of setbacks, suffering defeat in their two most recent matches. However, in cup competitions like the EFL Trophy, anything can happen, and we're eager to see our team bounce back! Since this match is part of the EFL Trophy, and cup competitions often bring surprises. With both teams likely to rest key players, it's an opportunity for other squad members to shine. The unpredictable nature of cup football means that this game could go either way, keeping us on the edge of our seats. We appreciate each and every one of you for joining our Discord watch party to support Crawley Town. Your passion and dedication to the team are what make our community special. Let's come together, cheer on our boys, and hope for a fantastic performance! COYR!
