This northern Italian Lago scene depicts, in Michelle’s own words, “A time for lunch," as several families seem to be gathering and joyfully sharing meals beneath the bright sunlight. Once again, she graces her canvas with European architecture, with additional specific detail to the tall trees, as well as the fence in the distance which conveys a remarkable depth of space.
