The MesoReefDAO Thailand POAP is a unique digital collectible commemorating MesoReefDAO’s mission to raise awareness about coral reef conservation through the use of Web3 and DeSci (Decentralized Science) tools. This POAP is being distributed at key events across Thailand between Oct 11th - Nov 30th, including Pop Up Cities in Chiang Mai, Devcon SEA, and ETH Global in Bangkok and Phuket, as well as during field visits to the Similan Islands—one of Thailand's most important coral reef ecosystems. MesoReefDAO's purpose in Thailand is to engage local and international communities in discussions on how blockchain, decentralized science, and digital tools can transform coral reef conservation efforts. This initiative seeks to bridge traditional research with innovative technologies to empower local communities, researchers, and conservationists working to protect marine ecosystems. The POAP serves as a token of participation for those involved in our workshops, panels, and pop-up events across these cities. By collecting this POAP, participants demonstrate their commitment to coral reef preservation and support for the integration of Web3 solutions in environmental conservation. Each holder will also receive early access to upcoming MesoReefDAO initiatives and dApp development efforts aimed at tackling the global coral reef crisis. Our presence in Thailand is made possible thanks to the Devcon 2024 scholarship by the Ethereum Foundation.
