Join us for the Biscayne World Bike Ride at South Point Park with AHOL SNIFFS GLUE! Taking place on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, this exciting community event is set against the stunning backdrop of South Point Park's Biking Boardwalk. We will meet up at 5 PM, and the ride will commence at 6:15 PM sharp. Remember to bring helmets and lights, and ensure your bikes are in good working order. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just looking for a fun way to enjoy the outdoors, this ride is for everyone. Come pedal with us and enjoy what our city has to offer! Come visit an exhibition of David Anasagasti’s "Geographies of Trash” produced by Dr. Jacek J. Kolasiński, FIU, Director of Ratcliffe Art + Design Incubator, Professor of Art + Art History, coming soon to Green Space Miami in collaboration with Florida International University's Ratcliffe Art + Design Incubator and the Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab. "Geographies of Trash" by Miami artist Ahole Sniffs Glue (David Anasagasti) is an artistic exploration that challenges conventional perspectives on waste and recycling. Through the lens of Ahol Sniffs Glue's distinctive style, the initiative reimagines trash not as a waste product but as the beginning of a creative exchange with environmentally conscious art collectors. By transforming discarded materials into vibrant works of art, Anasagasti breathes new life into what is often considered worthless. Join us at our 924 gallery space on Lincoln Road for a panel discussion hosted in collaboration with the FIU Ratcliffe Art + Design Incubator, followed by a walking tour of Miami Beach led by artist Ahol Sniffs Glue. This event is an activation of Ahol’s project at FIU Ratcliffe entitled, “Geographies of Trash,” in which he transforms discarded objects from Miami’s cityscape into coveted works of art. As he tags pieces of “garbage,” elevating them to the realm of “art,” Ahol photographs them, posts the images on Instagram, and leaves them for a lucky person to discover and take home. Participants of this tour will receive a POAP (“Proof of Attendance Protocol”) NFT minted by Ahol as a collectible memento of this tour. Join us for a South Florida PBS Art Loft event at the Underline featuring artist Ahol Sniffs Glue and "Geographies of Trash!" It’s happening March 28th at the Underline’s River Room - Guests are invited to attend the complimentary reception followed by a screening of the Art Loft Season 11 finale and then stick around for a talk-back with the artist.
