What defines a lesbian bar? A place that prioritizes the creation of safe space for marginalized genders; women, non-binary folks, and trans men. In queer culture your bar becomes your family. A place to hang with your friends, meet the love of your life, or maybe just someone for the night. A place to share history and to create history. In 1980 there were 200 lesbian bars in the United States. Today there are fewer than 25. That’s why this October, The Lesbian Bar Project and longtime supporter, Jägermeister, are bringing you the LBP Metaverse pop up: An educational and interactive bar experience in Decentraland showcasing archival and historic images of lesbian bars from the Library of Congress.

They have played together all over the UK, notably as the support act to 10cc and Ralph McTell on their 2018 U.K tours, at Fairport’s Cropredy Convention 2018, the 2018 Cambridge Folk Festival and the UK Americana Awards Showcase in 2017 and 2019,, as well as at the AmericanaFest in Nashville in 2017.
