The inaugural summit for Big Green DAO took place in Denver, CO on October 17th & 18th of 2022. This event was an invite-only DAO summit and focused on building our community and educating the members of Big Green DAO. Speakers included Kimbal Musk, Mathew Markman, Kevin Owocki, John Richardson, Ameen Soleimani, Lee Knight, John Paller, Robert Gray, Dr. Toni House, Dr. Rebecca Webster, Twylite Moore, Dianne Myles, A-Dae Romero-Briones, Lacy McDonald, Wande Okunoren-Meadows, Catherine Flemming, Vero Dimas, & Dianna Zeegers. The event took place at IRL Art & was streamed to the Big Green community via discord.

This monthly IRL is made possible by the Harmony Ambassador DAO, with a mandate to connect in-person communities around the world through educational and interactive meet-up events. The Harmony protocol, a silicon valley company, is a layer 1 smart contract platform. Harmony runs on proof of stake and is EVM compatible. Harmony has a mandate to blend community, culture and technology with public goods, in order to build a blockchain with real positive impact in the world. Each month we will take some time for a presentation about the Harmony protocol, to update our community about their latest initiatives, technology and projects. Topics may include Harmony grant funding, ZK University, the 1wallet, open community, gaming, metaverse and defi on Harmony, and how to join with the Harmony community to build the Harmony ecosystem.
