We want to invite people to “Touch the Torch” to claim a POAP, and attach Moments in the form of pictures, to the POAP. On Tuesday 12th November at DC7, we carried out the ETH•TORCH ritual, passing the Eth values from Bogotá to Bangkok 🦄🔥 This simbolic ritual gathers the communities from Colombia DC6 and SEA DC7 around the values of Ethereum that the torch aims to immortalize. The ETH•TORCH is a DIP proposal that was approved for DC7. The torch was exhibited at the SEA HUB during all of Devcon, as a symbol of unity.

During the week of Aug 21st at DAO TOKYO and ETHTokyo, POAP is adding a delightful twist to your conference itinerary: a city-wide “POAP Rally”, curated by locals and powered by POAP and the Checkin team. ETHTokyo 2024 is a hackathon for Ethereum ecosystem developers. It is hosted by Ethereum Japan, which is a nonprofit organization for Ethereum in Japan. This hackathon is the first time to host ETHTokyo by the local community.
