I attended Nifty Island Weekend hang out on October 20, 2024. I probably didn't win duck races, but I did get this cool POAP.

This POAP is to commemorate your participation in our first AMA hosted by the new Mars Cats Ventures team. This AMA is crucial for the project as it marks the beginning of our new adventure together and the first time we unravel our plans in such detail. Very recently, following the restructuring of our team, the Discord server has been rebranded as Mars Cats Ventures to better encompass both our NFT parent collections, Mars Cats Voyage and MetaZoku. This was the result of a community vote, in which the logo was also changed to better reflect our most recognizable brand: Mars Cats Voyage. We have spent the last couple months devising a strategy to rebuild our community and resharpen our direction for our future together. The new team, comprised of community leaders, whales and a former team member, are committed to taking on this beautiful new adventure together. Due to the nature of the information presented during the AMA there will be many instances where the community will be asked to comment directly on options and preferences for roadmap items, which will have a major impact on the implementation plan put forth. This session traced the history of blockchain and provided understanding of web3 concepts.

MCV DOT Alerts was a mini-game that ran for approximately three weeks in the Spring of 2022 on Twitter. The mini-game itself and all materials were developed by Wesley Gunn (Biggunn01), a Mars Cats Voyage Moderator and Community artist, and run with the help of other Mods and members of the Team. Players competed to find cat ID numbers and solve riddles of varying difficulty. Winners won NFT prizes and were eligible for the final mega raffles.
