2023-02-13
Historical NFT Museum Series 4 - with NFT Historians Adam Mcbride and Jake Gallen talking Historical NFTs, Emblem Vault & Ordinals Jake Gallen is a Las Vegas entrepreneur, Podcast Host, Content Creator, and NFT Collector. Since graduating from UNLV in 2015 he has founded multiple business endeavors, spoke across dozens stages, appeared on over 50 podcasts, and has been involved in the crypto industry since early 2017. Jake uses his Youtube channel as a creative outlet to express his intellectual curiosity, network with like-minded individuals, and explore the creative economy. Adam A. McBride The original NFT archaeologist explores the past, present, and future of NFTs and blockchain technology with the individuals that have helped to shape the space. Adam Mcbride: 1. NFT's are currently focused on the art market. And how the majority of art has ZERO value. 2. NFT's are also compared to the sports card market - i.e. baseball cards - which may be true. But the baseball card market has had 100+ years to grow and develop allowing for proper price discovery. 3. The NFT market feels a lot like the dot com bubble. Where the entire world knew this was going to be the next big thing. But it still took more than a decade to figure out who the winners were in the space. And the majority of companies went out of business during that process.
