In this webinar, we will share the basics of Floortime. We will present techniques which can help improve your daily communication using the Floortime approach, with specific examples illustrating the concepts.

We welcome Dr. Karen Levine, a developmental psychologist of 30 years, to talk about humor in Floortime® and in treating fears and phobias. “Humor shared together can lower anxiety and fear, increase social connection, and increase feelings of happiness, in children, parents and therapists. In this workshop I will talk about several forms of socially shared humor, and describe benefits. I will discuss cautions including the need for awareness of cultural, family and individual differences in humor preference and acceptability” - Dr. Karen Levine
