The bet took off on social media which lead to Opensea posting a tweet about it which inevitably lead them to verify the EVMavericks collection. Many OG EVMavericks know the struggle it was to go through the Opensea process to get blue check mark verified in the past and so becoming verified through a random bet online with an ass tattoo is very bittersweet! Danny is also regarded as a central figure in developing the core ethos and vision of Ethereum as a chain committed to long term sustainability and decentralization. Danny's leadership and commitment to making Ethereum sustainable have been vital to the success of the Ethereum beacon chain.
